Hi, I’m Stanisław (Stan) Wierzbicki — a London-based freelance writer and translator, specialising in web content and copywriting. I'm passionate about impactful stories, crossing boundaries and cultural exploration. I’m a professional copywriter specialising in crafting sharp, engaging, and strategically optimised copy and content for digital platforms. My work combines creative flair with commercial focus, transforming complex ideas into clear, persuasive brand narratives that captivate audiences and deliver measurable results.
In the past, I’ve ghostwritten more than 300 finance-related articles for Business Insider PL, developing a refined understanding of how to tell compelling, credible stories that resonate with readers and strengthen brand authority. More recently, I created specialist fintech content for Noda, a London-based payment platform, producing SEO-driven blogs, explainers and reviews that reached over 25,000 readers and elevated the company’s voice in the open banking space.
I also specialise in press releases and thought leadership, always ensuring every piece enhances brand credibility, builds authority, and cuts through the noise with clarity and purpose while helping your message stand out, earn trust, and drive genuine engagement.
Alongside copywriting, I offer English–Polish and Polish–English translation and localisation services, ensuring that every piece of content, regardless of market, retains its precision, tone, and persuasive power.

Having grown up in a thespian family in Warsaw, I always had a passion for theatre. I took my first steps as a theatre translator in 2024, translating Steve Martin’s Broadway smash-hit comedy Meteor Shower for the Polish stage (premiering in 2026). For all theatre-related queries, I am represented by ADiT (Agencja Dramatu i Teatru).

I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing from Lancaster University, where I was awarded the Donald and Margot Watt Bursary for Academic Excellence. My time there strengthened my passion for language, narrative, and the art of precision in writing—skills that now inform my professional practice.
During my studies, I also published creative-critical academic work, contributing to LUX Journal (Issue 6) with the essay “Reading Heart of Darkness as a Polishman in Sub-Saharan Africa.” This piece explored questions of postcolonial identity, perspective, Polish-British relationships with race and nationality, and modern implications of the colonial mentality.
I am currently pursuing an MSt in Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge (part-time), further refining my craft through advanced study of narrative form, voice, and the intersections between creative and commercial writing.
